This Privacy Policy describes how Tygra Universe(“Tygra Universe”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use any product in the Tygra Universe ecosystem, including the The Pride mobile application (iOS and Android), the web portal at pride.tygrauniverse.com, the main site tygrauniverse.com, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
Tygra Universe is the operator of the Services. For any privacy-related question, request, or complaint, you can reach us at support@tygrauniverse.com.
2. Age Requirement
The Tygra Universe Services contain mature creative content and are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account information — display name, username, email address, and a hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).
- Profile information — avatar, biography, devotion preferences, character/pride affiliations, and any other content you choose to add.
- Authentication identifiers — when you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email, profile photo) from that provider. We do not receive your password.
- User-generated content — chronicles, stories, comments, reactions, bookmarks, and any other content you submit through the Story Forge or other community features.
- Communications — emails, support messages, and feedback you send us.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — chronicles you read, time you spend on the dashboard, daily visit streaks, devotion events, leaderboard activity, and similar interactions used to compute your rank and devotion score.
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, IP address, browser type, and crash diagnostics.
- Push-notification identifiers — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens used to deliver in-app and push notifications to your device.
- Cookies and local storage — small data files stored on your device to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and prevent duplicate event tracking (see Section 8).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and keep your session active.
- Provide the core features of the Services (chronicles, leaderboards, devotion points, ranks, member profiles, story forge).
- Send transactional messages (e.g. password resets, security alerts, account updates).
- Send opt-in push or email notifications about new chronicles, milestones, or community activity.
- Improve the Services, debug issues, and measure performance.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security risks, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from authorities.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR/UK GDPR:
- Contract — to provide the Services you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and personalize the Services.
- Consent — for optional features such as push notifications and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — when we must process data to comply with the law.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- Service providers we rely on to operate the Services, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms. These currently include:
- Google Firebase — push notification delivery (FCM) and authentication helpers.
- Google Identity Services — for “Sign in with Google”.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers used to run our servers and databases.
- Email delivery providers used to send transactional messages.
- Other members — your username, avatar, public profile information, devotion rank, and any content you publicly post are visible to other members of the Pride.
- Legal and safety — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tygra Universe, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, where your data may be transferred under terms consistent with this Policy.
7. Push Notifications
With your consent, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications about new chronicles, devotion events, and other community updates. You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings or from within the app’s notification preferences.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and coordinate background tasks such as the hourly “time online” devotion heartbeat across multiple browser tabs. You can clear this data from your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out.
9. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will erase or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and your personal data (subject to legal limits).
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw any consent you have given.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

11. Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by:
- Using the in-app “Delete Account” option in Settings (where available); or
- Emailing support@tygrauniverse.com from the email address associated with your account.
Once verified, we will delete your profile, devotion history, content submissions, and device tokens, and remove your personal information from active systems. Some de-identified, aggregated, or legally required records may be retained.
12. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and regular monitoring — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately at support@tygrauniverse.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
13. International Transfers
Tygra Universe operates globally and may process your data in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or rely on adequacy decisions where applicable.
14. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you in-app, by email, or by a prominent notice on the Services prior to the change taking effect. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
